Somehow we got on the subject of politics, and Insanity (aka Nerdboy aka BitrCynic) tossed off a brief note of "baaaaa" in re: the credulity and compliance of the electorate. I was siezed by this hideous burst of something akin to creativity, and fomented the following satirical, which I dub "Preamble for The New Millenium"

We the Sheeple of the United States, in order to form a more utilitarian society, establish fairness instead of justice, provide for the UN's worldwide meddling, become a welfare state, and secure the freedom from liberty to ourselves and our posterity do hereby ignore the Constitution and the collected wisdom of the Founders and hare off on some damnfool statist adventure at the behest of certain east-coast thinkers and their willing shills in the Congress and the White House. Amen.
